Springer's Landscaping Spectacle

We have moved 20 yards of concrete (two dump trucks, our old drive way & curb)and 30-40 yards of dirt. We poured 57 yards of concrete in 3 days (averaging about 18 hours a day). The retaining wall is 176 feet long and took about 525 concrete blocks, 50 bags of concrete (in addition to the 6 yards in the footer), and 24 bags of mortar. We stamped the front parking area (9'x97'), 20 feet of the driveway at the street, and 20 feet in the middle. The stamp work is a slate and is done in gray.

Whatever possesed us to begin this little project? We were tired of playing musical cars each time we needed to drive a different car and I was tired of 4-wheeling our lawn mower on the front yard, so when we re-financed our house we got a home loan and went wild. The retaining wall gave us about 7 feet of our property back that we can use.
